The growth

Forza10, an Italian brand of high-quality pet food specializing in food intolerances, celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2026 by strengthening its strategy based on scientific research for the development of increasingly advanced nutritional solutions and focusing on internationalization as a driver of growth.

Currently, exports account for 30% of the company’s turnover, but the goal is to reach 37% in the next 4 years. Since 2021, the brand has been part of the international Nast Petfood group, a French company active internationally and specialized in ultra-premium nutrition for dogs and cats. The recent acquisition of the Canadian FirstMate has strengthened the group’s presence in a strategic area like North America. In parallel, new activities are being developed in China in Asia, while the presence is already consolidated in Japan, Korea, and Taiwan.

The objectives

While development increasingly looks abroad, the roots remain firmly local. In Bagnoli di Sopra, in the province of Padua, the industrial and research hub produces about 15 thousand tons of products per year and carries out innovation and production for the 20 countries where the group is present. At the Venetian site, historically dedicated to dry pet food, the entire production of wet food has also recently started, and significant production investments are planned for 2026, with the introduction of new technologies and advanced machinery. Among the main projects are the activation of an innovative odor abatement system and the connection of the second photovoltaic plant at the production site, confirming a strategy oriented towards sustainability and energy efficiency.

«Celebrating 30 years also means remembering where we started: from a veterinary clinic, from clinical observation and a pioneering intuition that changed standards: the value of single-protein nutrition and the use of surface fish and alternative animal proteins» comments Giorgio Massoni, general manager. «Today we remain faithful to the same nutritional philosophy and continue to invest in research to offer concrete answers to the needs of dogs and cats with food sensitivities, in Italy and increasingly abroad, and to the new needs of veterinary medicine».
