Because to the Made In Italy of fashion, design and automotive must be added the Made In Italy of entertainment.
The numbers
The company, with a group turnover of 108 million in 2025, expects to reach 130 million by 2026: “The growing production value is linked to special projects with Disney, Universal, multi-year orders of significant amounts that have a lead time of more than two years,” explains Antonio Zamperla, CEO since 2021. “Over 97% of our turnover is developed abroad and we currently have over 70 projects in the main international markets. Demand remains strong and concerns both new investments and modernization programs of existing facilities,” he adds.
Zamperla keeps its creative, design and production heart in Altavilla Vicentina. In 2025 the company collaborated with 1,242 suppliers, generating 67 million euros in purchases. 85% of this value was allocated to Italian companies and 69% to Venetian entities, with 617 regional suppliers involved. Considering personnel, materials, services and related activities, the overall induced impact generated in the territory is estimated at about 100 million euros. The role of the amusement ride district, which has Rovigo among its hubs, remains central “especially due to the presence of specialized suppliers, consolidated technical skills and professional relationships developed over time. Even in an increasingly global context, the concentration of know-how and qualified services still represents a valuable element for our sector.” To remain competitive, however – Zamperla emphasizes – “technology and technical skills are not enough: the ability to learn, cross-pollinate different knowledge and collaborate along the entire supply chain is needed. In this perspective, the dialogue between school, university and business becomes strategic to bring young people closer to the attractions industry, transmit the knowledge heritage built over time and train the professionals necessary to continue innovating.”
The new ride
The event titled “The time of joy” was also the occasion for the world premiere presentation of Hypnosiz, the new Zamperla attraction developed in 18 months through the contribution of dozens of people and a network of suppliers and industrial partners. The new attraction, Hypnosiz, is a concrete example of this industrial model: its realization involved 85 suppliers, 14 of which directly in development. To remain competitive, however, technology and technical skills are not enough: the ability to learn, cross-pollinate different knowledge and collaborate along the entire supply chain is needed. In this perspective, the dialogue between school, university and business becomes strategic to bring young people closer to the attractions industry, transmit the knowledge heritage built over time and train the professionals necessary to continue innovating.
