From July 13 to August 31, every Monday at 3:10 PM on Rai3, the eight new episodes of the fifth television season will air. The 2026 itineraries
The summer 2026 edition crosses some of the most significant religious and cultural itineraries in Italy. From the Amalfi Coast, with an episode dedicated to Vietri sul Mare, the gateway to the Coast, and the monumental Abbey of the Most Holy Trinity of Cava de’ Tirreni, one of the most important monastic complexes in the South, the journey continues along the evocative Sacred Line of Saint Michael, the ancient itinerary that, according to tradition, connects Scotland to the Holy Land. In Italy, the route will stop at the two great Michaelic sanctuaries of the Sacra di San Michele, in the Susa Valley, and the Sanctuary of Monte Sant’Angelo, on the Gargano, symbolic places of European pilgrimage.
One of the most anticipated episodes will be dedicated to the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi. The season will then stop at Castel Gandolfo, the historic summer residence of the Popes, and reach San Giovanni Rotondo, following the footsteps of Padre Pio to learn not only about the figure of the Capuchin saint but also the works born from his evangelical testimony. The journey will conclude in Bari, a symbolic city of the meeting between East and West.
