The positive trend of the Group’s results continues, closing the first half of 2026 with improving operating margins and a positive net result of 1.2 million euros, up 17.7% compared to the same period in 2025, despite the persistent difficulties of the Italian publishing market and a geopolitical and economic context still characterized by unpredictability and moderate growth prospects.
Details of the accounts
In the first half, Il Sole 24 ORE Group recorded consolidated revenues of 102.9 million euros (105.2 million euros in the same period of 2025), of which 42.4 million euros were advertising revenues, 45.9 million euros editorial revenues, and 14.6 million euros other revenues. Specifically, there was growth in database revenues (+4.0%) and software (+70.4%) thanks to the integration of AI services, training business (+28.9%), and the Radiocor news agency (+6.7%), as well as the positive contribution of the new channel IlSole24OreTV and podcasts. These trends partially offset the decline in the exhibition sector, diffusion revenues from newspapers, books and magazines, and advertising revenues.
