This is what is stated in a note with which the Quirinale definitively closes the case of the pardon for Nicole Minetti.
The Quirinale also emphasizes an aspect that had been at the center of controversy, namely that «for the pardon decree in question, the Quirinale did not deviate from usual practices, without any unusual secrecy: in most cases of granting a pardon, no communication is issued by the Quirinale, due to the presence of sensitive data – illnesses, family events and relationships, involvement of children and other delicate aspects – which must be duly protected from forms of disclosure».
