They represent the heart of a true higher technical education chain. These are courses strongly oriented towards acquiring specialized skills and designed to maintain a close connection with the evolution of the labor market and the professional needs of companies in various sectors, from aerospace to ICT.
The Piedmont system is based on ITS – Higher Technological Institutes -, the high specialization schools with two- or three-year courses that issue a higher technician diploma, alongside IFTS, annual training courses aimed not only at young graduates but also at workers, issuing higher technical specialization certificates and also structured for professional reconversion paths.
