In October 2024, the company’s CEO, Tatyana Kim, gave an interview to Vedomosti, Russia’s economic daily, describing the warehouse as Wildberries’ most technologically advanced logistics center. The agency also reported that in November 2023 the company employed over 8,000 people.
The Kotovsk warehouse was recently inaugurated at the end of May 2025 and is crucial for logistics in the region. The center can store up to 54 million items.

Why is it unlikely that sellers whose products were damaged will receive compensation?
Tatyana Kim promptly commented – still according to Meduza – on the attack on the company’s warehouses. She expressed her condolences to the families of the victims and promised to provide them with “all necessary support.” Wildberries also activated an online chat support line for the families of workers at the Kotovsk and Elektrostal warehouses.
However, Kim did not specify whether the platform would assist sellers whose products were destroyed in the attack. She only stated that the products in the affected warehouses had been temporarily withdrawn from sale and promised to return “soon with information on this matter.”
