The alarm was raised last night, just before 8 PM, with the intervention of the Drago 142 helicopter from the Fire Brigade. The young tourist was on Mount Etna, apparently in a restricted area when he was caught by a violent thunderstorm. Here he was struck by lightning which caused a violent electric discharge.
