Starting from 2026, the Ministry of Culture has established a fund (with an annual allocation of 1.5 million euros) to support the Italian music system, with the aim of promoting the development, strengthening, and relaunch of the sector’s competitiveness and expanding public participation in live performances. The forms for submitting applications for contributions related to the year 2026, as provided by Ministerial Decree 4 May 2026, no. 189 (“Criteria and methods of access to the Fund referred to in Article 1, paragraphs 825 to 827, of Law 30 December 2025, no. 199, for the financing of interventions for the development, strengthening, and relaunch of competitiveness, as well as for the promotion of the Italian music system”), have been made available on the General Directorate for Live Entertainment’s online platform.

Admission Requirements
Companies producing and organizing contemporary popular music shows, established as sole proprietorships, partnerships, or corporations, that have produced and organized at least five contemporary popular music shows and/or events, with SIAE code 053 (light music concerts), in the calendar year preceding the submission of the contribution application, and possessing certain requirements, may apply for contributions. Applications must be submitted exclusively online by no later than 4:00 PM on July 20, 2026.

Cannella: a Strategic Sector
«Live music represents a strategic sector for the cultural and economic growth of the country,» declared Undersecretary for Culture Pietro Cannella. «With this initiative, we intend to support and enhance companies producing and organizing contemporary popular music shows, promoting the quality of artistic offerings and the dissemination of musical activities throughout the national territory.»
