Arrivals and presences both recorded an increase of 2%. A further expansion of flows that affected both the domestic and international markets: the former saw an increase of 2.1% in arrivals and 1.6% in presences; the latter recorded increases of 1.9% in arrivals and 2.3% in presences.
High occupancy rate
“There is an even more important indicator,” Mazzi emphasized, “the occupancy rate of rooms and accommodations on the major global online platforms: we have a figure of almost 62%, 14.3% more than last year. We are 7 points above Spain and 17 points above France.”

Intense August
The month of August, according to data provided by the Ministry of Tourism, recorded results above the average for the entire summer period. Arrivals increased by 3%, presences by 4.2%.
The domestic component showed a particularly dynamic trend in arrivals (+3.5%), accompanied by a 2.7% growth in presences. The international market confirmed its strategic role: a 2.2% increase in arrivals and a more marked growth in presences (+4.4%).
