Bibione is a set
This time the spotlight is on Bibione, Venice. After careful analysis and consultation with the municipal offices of San Michele al Tagliamento, the location was chosen by director Clément Cogitore as the ideal setting for his new film “Rivo Alto,” produced by Kino Produzioni.
The work, set in the 6th century AD, will focus on the story of the founding of Venice and filming will take place in October in one of the most fascinating natural areas of Bibione.

The location will also host casting in the coming days to find faces, preferably from the area, interested in acting alongside the lead actors, whose identity is still top secret but whose talent has repeatedly enchanted Italian and European cinema. The casting for “Rivo Alto,” organized by Mira Project Movie, will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 2 pm to 6 pm in the Multipurpose Hall of the Municipal Delegation of Bibione, at via Maja 84. Both generic and special extras are sought.
