Unions: extraordinary national plan
“Making the former Ilva eco-compatible with a production cycle that combines environment and health, safeguarding employment and with the State guaranteeing the transition” has always been, in all meetings, the unions’ request – state Fim, Fiom and Uilm national – and now “the decree of the Milan Court of Appeal which provides for the closure of the hot area within 90 days of notification, shows how these last two years have passed without addressing the issues raised by the union and workers with mobilizations, strikes, dialogue and complaints.” The unions declare a “permanent national mobilization” and ask for “an extraordinary national plan for the relaunch and securing of the former Ilva.”
