It’s official: four more deputies join Futuro Nazionale, two come from the Lega and two from Forza Italia. With Roberto Vannacci, the Calabrian Domenico Furgiuele and the Venetian Gianangelo Bof pass from the Carroccio, while from Antonio Tajani‘s party arrive Davide Bergamini (already a defector from the Lega to the Azzurri) and Attilio Pierro. Roberto Vannacci himself announced this at a press conference at the Hotel Principe di Piemonte, in his Viareggio (Lucca), where he also illustrated the Futuro Nazione program in view of the assembly scheduled in Rome on June 13 and 14, emphasizing that 94,000 members have already been reached. Also present at the press conference was Emanuele Pozzolo, a Futuro Nazionale deputy, who went off-road with his SUV in the Biella area with a blood alcohol level that would have been double the permitted limit.

New entries in Futuro Nazionale and the Rome assembly
“Four deputies join us today and embrace our project. They will be deputies Davide Bergamini, Attilio Pierro, Domenico Furgiuele and Gianangelo Bof. With them, Antonio Maria Rinaldi, former MEP, also joins Futuro Nazionale,” explained the leader of Futuro Nazionale and MEP Roberto Vannacci at a press conference in Viareggio, in the province of Lucca, noting that “we have 94,000 members, the party has started, no one can stop us now.” “June 6 marks the Normandy landings, today we celebrate the landing in Futuro Nazionale. “The EU like Gargantua: it is never satisfied”
“Someone says that as long as they are in government there will never be a wealth tax in Italy, but then in Brussels they vote for new resources, and do you know what they are? They are taxes, more taxes for Italians, Brussels is never satisfied, it’s like Gargantua,” said Futuro Nazionale leader Roberto Vannacci. “We are not willing to give in on our red lines for any position,” he emphasized. Vannacci then spoke of a personal anecdote concerning his family and in particular his daughters: “They are denying us our identity. To my daughters, whom I proudly sent to public school, no one, at 14 years old, taught the national anthem,” and “in the city where the massacre was committed by an Islamist, it is news today that the mayor made the children of a class sing Free Palestine, probably the same children who were not taught the national anthem,” concluded the leader of Futuro Nazionale.

Furgiuele: “Too much disappointment, that’s why I’m leaving the Lega”
“Return to Camelot”: this is the title of a long Facebook post by Domenico Furgiuele, a deputy who says goodbye to the Lega to join Futuro Nazionale. “There are moments in life when you have to have the courage to leave what you love when you no longer recognize it. After twelve years, I am leaving the Lega. It is not a sudden decision,” he explains. “It is a pondered choice, postponed several times. I searched within myself and in discussions with those who have been dealing with the party recently, for reasons to stay, but I found none.
